PRIVATE TUITION
As a Vocal Balance Level 3 Accredited Teacher, I specialise in developing singers for musical theatre. Alongside leading Everybody Sing!, I teach singing on the degree and diploma courses at Wilkes Academy and am a member of the Stagebox team. With over 20 years of teaching experience and a 100% student pass rate in LCM and ABRSM examinations, I combine healthy vocal technique with musicality and performance skills to help each student reach their potential.
Who Are Lessons For?
Tuition is available from age 10 through to adults, welcoming beginners through to advanced singers. Previous experience and professional ambitions are not essential, but students should have an enthusiasm for musical theatre and a willingness to practise between lessons.
Lessons can support:
Audition preparation for musical theatre shows, colleges and degree courses
Vocal technique, confidence and performance development
Building an appropriate and varied audition repertoire
LCM and ABRSM examination preparation, with Sophie’s students achieving a 100% pass rate
Musical theatre is Sophie’s specialism. Pop repertoire is included where relevant to audition requirements and contemporary musical theatre training. The focus is on structured vocal and performance development for musical theatre, rather than general recreational pop singing lessons.
Lesson Fees & Availability
New students: £30 per half-hour lesson.
Existing students retain their separately agreed rates and will be notified directly of any changes.
